Efforts on to bring constructive changes in PIA: Mehtab

ISLAMABAD: Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair Umar and Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan called on Advisor to Prime Minister on aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan on Thursday here in Islamabad.

Besides Secretary Aviation Irfan Elahi, high officials of Aviation division were also present on this occasion.

Both distinguished guests remained with Advisor for some time and discussed the different matters of mutual interests.

Sardar Methab Ahmad Khan, in separate meetings with both Governors; apprised the different reforms and accomplishments to enrich the standards of PIA and aviation industry and to expand the pace of good and result-oriented performance of PIA in a consistent manner.

He affirmed that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is a national organization and all possible efforts are being made not only to bring about constructive changes in it but also to furnish it with its lost prestigious position. Both Governors acknowledged and appreciated the endeavors of government and adviser particularly and hoped that soon PIA will be retaining its previous grace.

On this occasion, Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair also shared about the different educational transformations and developments in Sindh particularly for the provision of standardized and quality oriented higher educational system. Advisor to Prime Minister Sardar Mehtab Khan appreciated the Governor Sindh and assured him to provide his assistance in every possible manner.
