FDA making efforts to bring accelerate economic development in tribal area

ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive Federally Administered Tribal Area Development Authority (FATA-DA), Dr. Fida Mohammad Wazir, has said that FATA-DA making strenuous efforts under the supervision of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra to bring accelerated economic development in the tribal areas.

Speaking at the 41st meeting of FATA-DA Board of Directors (BoD) held and detailed discussions on various aspects, said a press release.

Secretary FATA-DA briefed the meeting about performance under ADP 2016-17. He informed that all the allocated funds of Rs 2675 Millions were spent during the year. He also presented physical achievements under various sectors.

He informed that steps have been taken to complete various projects so that the people are benefited at the earliest.

At the end, a detailed video presentation of completed and ongoing schemes was made. The BoD members took keen interest in the presentation and appreciated the achievements of FATA DA and noted that these projects will benefit the local population in the long run.

The BoD recommended proper projection of the completed schemes so as to inform and educate the general masses of the area so that they can take the benefits of these schemes.
