ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has invited tenders from contractor and firm based for Water supply in remaining components of Development and Rehabilitation of Sector G-13.
An official in the Ministry of Housing and Works told reporter that the estimated cost of the project is Rs 39.6 million. “Proposals are invited from well reputed Contractors and firms having valid PEC registration with experience in relevant field,” he said.
He said that the interested firms can purchase Request for Proposals (RFP) documents from the Deputy Director (Tech-II), Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation from September 18 to October 4 on submission of written application with a cash payment of Rs 3,000.
“RFP documents may also be downloaded from FGE Housing Foundation and PPRA’s websites,” he said.
He said the technical proposals will be opened on October 5 in the Committee Room of Housing Foundation in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives.
“The Financial Proposals of only technically qualified firms will be opened, whose date and time shall be communicated at appropriate time. Successful bidders will have to submit a performance guarantee at 10% of bid amount after issuance of acceptance letter and before issuance of commencement letter,” he said.
The official said all applicable federal and provincial taxes must be considered while preparing the financial proposals.
“The contractors providing unsubstantiated and incorrect information would be liable to legal action as per PPRA Rules-2004.”
He said the interested firms must attach the relevant documents with their proposals mentioned in the advertisement.
