Four drug peddlers held, 2 .40 kg hashish and 1.150 kg heroin seized

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Noon police station have arrested six accused including four drug pushers and recovered 2.40 kilogram hashish, 1.150 kilogram heroin from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani directed all police officials of the city to ensure high vigilance against those involved in drug pushing and anti-social activities. Following his directions, DSP Mohammad Hussain Lasi, Station House officer Noon police station, Sub-Inspector Umer Hyat arrested Safeer Khan s/o Fazal Mehmud resident of Sargodha, Arshad Naz, Haroon and lady accuse Iqbal begum and recovered 2.40 kilogram hashish, 1.150 kilogram heroin from their possession.

Police team also arrested two thieves Zafran and Aurngzaib and recovered stolen property from their possession. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to remain vigilant in their respective areas and ensure arrest of those involved in ugly business of drug pushing.

He said that such elements would not to be tolerated anywhere and appealed to citizens to inform Islamabad police in case of any such activity s around them. He said name of informer would be kept secret.
