ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast hot and dry weather for most part of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
The synoptic situation says that weak seasonal low was lying over north west Balochistan. Continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Lasbela 44 C, Dadu, Rahim Yar Khan 43, Khanpur and Bhakkar 42 C.
