Husband of slain woman sends ‘forgiveness’ to NZ mosque gunman

Christchurch, New Zealand:The husband of a woman killed as she tried to rescue him from a Christchurch mosque forgave the gunman on Sunday.

“I would say to him ‘I love him as a person’,” Farid Ahmad told REPORTER. Asked if he forgave the 28-year-old suspect, he said: “Of course. The best thing is forgiveness, generosity, loving and caring, positivity.”
