ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Friday submitted the documents of loan payment to Jemima Khan in Supreme Court.
According to the documents, Jemima was paid £5,62,000 from Niazi ServicesLimited (NSL) account.
The documents state that “an amount of £79,000 being the refund by the Architect for the faulty design of the Bani Gala House was remitted by Miss Jemima Khan through a banking transaction converted to Pak Rupees officially and declared by Respondent No.1 (Imran Khan) in his return to the ECP for the year ending 30-06-2003, as well as FBR.”
The documents provide proof that Jemima received money from Anglo Irish Bank.
After the loan payment, the account of Niazi Services was left with £1,00,000 which was later spent on litigation, leaving no significant amount to be shown in his tax statements, says the document.
It went on to clarify that nothing was receivable or received from NSL which necessitated declaration to ECP during the years when Imran Khan was a holder of public office as Member of National Assembly.
The documents say that by 2013 the entire amount has been spend by the shareholders and directors of NSL, leaving nothing to be decalred by Imran Khan.
