Imran refrains to level allegations against opponents: Zafarullah

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Law and Justice, Barrister Zafarullah Khan on Tuesday urged Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed to avoid levelling baseless allegations against political opponents.

Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed were using strong and derogatory language for political opponents which were not suitable, he said talking to a private news channel.

Zafarullah said, ”I had never used any abusive language in political career.”

He said the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had locked accountability commission in the province.

PTI has given three names for Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), he said and advised that PTI to appoint one person from such names for Chairman of KP accountability commission.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Member National Assembly, Shazia Mari said PTI was doing politics of leveling baseless allegations of deal between the government and PPP but it was also failed to prove it.

She said the KP government did not deliver anything for the welfare of the masses and province.
