ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda Tuesday said Prime Minister Imran Khan was an honest and hard worker person that was why international community was showing its confidence over his leadership and willing to to invest in Pakistan.
Talking to a private news channel, he said it was the result of honest leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan that friendly countries were going to make heavy investment in the country.
The minister said problems of many decades could not be resolved in few months but the incumbent government was committed to fulfill its promises which were made with the people during its electoral campaign in 2018.
He said the government had inherited the bad condition of national economy but the Prime Minister was making the best efforts to strengthen it.
Faisal Vawda said the government had brought visible improvement in different sectors including health, education, law and order situation, railways and power but the previous governments had destroyed the national institutions and economy by their wrong policies.
Replying to a question, he said the leaderhsip of both Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party had looted the national wealth marcilessly but did nothing for welfare of the people.
Replying to another question, he said difference of opinion was beauty of the democratic system, adding that Sheikh Rashid should be part of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He said opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif was using chairmanship of PAC for his personal interests.
