JKML pays tributes to Kashmiri detainees’ steadfastness

ISLAMABAD: Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Mohammad Yousuf Mir has paid tributes to the steadfastness of the illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails saying that their sacrifices are a great asset for the ongoing freedom movement.

Mohammad Yousuf Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of political detainees including Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Mohammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Dr Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Fehmeeda Sofi, Mohammad Rafique Ganai, Abdul Ahmad Parra, Asadullah Parray, Hakeem Showkat and Mohammad Ramzan Khan would not be allowed to go waste, reported.

He said that the illegal prolonged detention of the political leaders and activists was the proof of the frustration of the puppet authorities.

He said that such cheap tactics could not subdue the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people and they would take their struggle for securing their right to self-determination to its logical conclusion at all costs.
