Mahtab condoles demise of Asghar Khan

ISLAMABAD:Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan has expressed deep condolence and grief over the sad demise of the former chief of air staff and former head of Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Air Chief Marshal (Retd.) Asghar Khan on Friday.

In his condolence message, while showing sympathies with the other members of bereaved family, the Adviser has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience, a news release said.

The Adviser has also paid rich tributes to the services which the deceased had rendered for the country and said that Air Marshal Asghar Khan had a good character and professional capability and he headed PAF with courage and great commitment.

Mahtab also acknowledged his contribution as former head of PIA. His services to transform Pakistan Air Force and for the country would be remembered forever, he added.
