ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours while rain-thunderstorm is likely at a few places of Malakand, Hazara divisions, Upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Continental air is prevailing over most part of the country. A shallow westerly trough is still affecting extreme northern parts of the country, an official of Met office told reporter on Tuesday.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Kashmir. Rainfall recorded during this time span were Kashmir, Rawalakot 05mm.

Turbat 42°C, Bahawalnagar, Hyderabad 41°C, Karachi 38°C, Multan 37°C, Lahore 37°C, Faisalabad 36°C, Peshawar 35°C, Islamabad 34°C, Muzaffarabad 33°C, Dir, Chitral 31°C, Gilgit 29°C, Quetta 28°C, Murree 24°C and Skardu 21°C.
