Mainly hot, dry weather to grip most parts, rain likely at few places

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours while rain-thunderstorm is likely at a few places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Continental air is prevailing over most part of the country.

A shallow westerly trough persist over upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told reporter.

In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, however, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Kashmir.

Rainfall recorded during this time span was Rawalakot 05mm.

Highest temperature recorded on Monday was Chhor, Sh.Benazirabad 43°C, Lasbela, Mithi, Turbat, 42°C,

Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Bahawalnagar 41°C,Sh.Benazirabad, Sibbi 41°C,Karachi 38°C,Lahore 37°C,Faisalabad 37°C , Multan 36 °C, Peshawar 35°C,Maffarabad 34°C,Islamabad 33°C, Chitral 31°C,Dir 30°C Quetta, Gilgit 28°C,Murree 24°C and Skardu 21°C.
