ISLAMABAD:Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours while rain-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Continental air is prevailing over most part of the country. A shallow westerly trough persist over upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told reporter.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at a few places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Maximum temperature recorded on Sunday were Chhor, Mithi, Turbat, Lasbela 43°C, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Sh.Benazirabad, Bahawalnagar, Hyderbad, Sibbi 41°C, Karachi 38°C, Lahore, Faisalabad 37°C, Multan 36°C, Peshawar 35°C, Muzaffarabad 34°C, Islamabad 33°C, Chitral 31°C, Dir 30°C, Quetta, Gilgit 28°C,Murree 24°C and Skardu 21°C.
