ISLAMABAD: National Information Technology Board (NITB) has so far provided basic IT training to 2,365 Assistants, Upper Divisional Clerks (UDCs) and Lower Division Clerks, working in Federal government departments.
The NITB, an attached department of Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications is conducting basic IT training courses for them since December 2016 in collaboration with Virtual University (VU).
As per details here on Monday, the NITB enrolled 2,372 candidates, of which 752 were Assistants, 792 were UDCs and 828 were LDCs.
The training of 2365 candidates has been completed, of which 752 were Assistants, 789 were UDCs and 824 were LDCs.
The certificate issued to 129 Assistants, 119 UDCs and 152 LDCs so far.
The examinations are scheduled by end of this month (September 2017) for 1315 candidates which included 388 Assistants, 465 UDCs and 462 LDCs.
