Pakistan high commission in UK to promote Pakistani artist’s work

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan High Commission in UK, with a view to promote Pakistani artisits and their art, has announce a solo exhibition of paintings by artist Veeda Ahmed at the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, London.

According to a message received here, at the exhibition her masterful skills will be displayed as a contemporary painter who uses traditional miniature painting techniques and materials in her work.

Veeda initially trained at The University of Punjab, Lahore, and the Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art, Oxford University. Later, she went on to study at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, London, where she received a PhD in Persian, Mughal and Pahari drawing and painting.

She is a critically acclaimed artist having participated in over 40 exhibitions all over the world.

Pakistan High Commission has the pleasure of presenting this solo show of Veeda Ahmed’s accomplished art, as part of the 70th Independence Anniversary celebrations in London.
