Pakistan sacrifices a lot in war against terrorism: Kamal

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Petroleum Jam Kamal Khan has said Pakistan had given a lot of sacrifices in the war against terrorism for restoring peace in the region.

Talking to a news channel, he said Pakistan had been supporting a large number of Afghan refugees for decades.

Pakistan’s economy was affected due to fighting war against terrorism.

Pakistan had adopted a strong stance as a nation and government at United Nation General Assembly forum, he said.

Pakistan had expressed concerns regarding Afghanistan and India’s role in the region, he said.

India had made heavy investment to create trouble on western borders and Balochistan, he said.

To a question, he said Kashmir was an important issue for Pakistan.

He said Pakistan wanted to have dialogue with India but no compromise would be made on national interest.
