PM to inaugurate housing project in capital on April 17: Minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed Thursday said Prime Minister Imran Khan would inaugurate the ground breaking of housing project in the federal capital on April 17.

Talking to a private news channel, he said under this programme 1,25,000 houses would be constructed at selected places of federal territory and the inauguration of housing project in Renala Khurd area of Punjab is expected on April 21. He said PTI achieved the heavy mandate in general elections 2018 for the elimination of corruption and to strengthen the accountability process. He said PTI would achieve its goal to make a prosperous Pakistan as this dream could not fulfill without punish the alleged persons involved in the cases of corruption. He further said Prime Minister Imran Khan believed on the blanket accountability, adding, former regimes had destroyed the country and left the national economy in worst situation. “Some hard and bold steps are badly needed to upgrade the economy, for price control and to provide the relief to common man”, he said in response of a query.
