PML-N wants justice in Sharif family’s case: Saad

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government wanted justice in Sharif family’s case through fair and transparent investigations.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the PML-N government had cooperated with Joint Investigation Team (JIT) despite of reservations on its investigation procedure.

The minister said,”We did not want any Acting-Judge to supervise the case and accountability court should work an independently and transparent manner.”

He said that his party did not want any confrontation with anyone.

He said former Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif would appear before the accountability court on Tuesday and he held discussion with party leaders in this regard.

Khawaja Saad said Nawaz Sharif held meeting with his party leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who asked about the health of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz.
