Salam-Confucius cultural exhibition held

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) on Monday organized a one day ‘Salam-Confucius Cultural Exhibition’ at Pakistan China Friendship Centre.

Chairman Pakistan China Institute Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Acting Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Prof. Dean of Tsinghua University International Centre for Communication studies, Lin Youwu Chairman of Shenzhen Broad Link Group, Senator Afrasiab Khattak, Senator Sahar Kamran, Chinese community and a large number of people from different walks of life attended the cultural exhibition.

Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said that first time such a cultural event was organized aiming at to further strengthen our existing relations in various field including cultural activities.

He said Pakistan-China Cultural Corridor being introduced would be based on education, people to people contact, learning, tourism and culture. Cultural connectivity would play key role in further cementing our bilateral relations.

He said this cultural connections was started with Confucius teachings. “Let us we start with cultural tourism as Pakistan is the home for number of religious holy places.”

Acting Ambassador of China lauded Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed for playing his important role in enhancing bilateral relations Pak-China.
