SC asks for complete record in LDA DG removal case

ISLAMABAD:Supreme Court (SC) Thursday asked the Punjab advocate general to provide complete record of the case seeking removal of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) from his office.

A three-member bench, headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed and comprised Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan, heard the review petition.

During the course of proceedings, Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan said the whole review petition consisted of wrong statements as it was said that the court did not heard the Punjab government over the matter.

Justice Gulzar Ahmed proposed the Punjab advocate general to come with full preparation on the next date of hearing.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing.
