Sindhi delegation discusses issues facing Overseas Pakistanis with Chairman OPF

ISLAMABAD: A delegation led by Kheeal Das Kohistani General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League (Minority wing) Sindh called on the Chairman OPF Board of Governors Barrister Amjad Malik at his chambers in Rochdale on Thursday and discussed with him issues relating to overseas Pakistanis.

Both discussed the issues of minorities in general and specific to the needs of overseas Pakistanis.

Barrister Amjad Malik assured the delegation of his utmost desire to continue taking representation of the minorities as well as majorities in the overseas community and vowed to resolve all issues in a timeframe amicably. He confirmed that advisory council set by OPF has representation of minorities and it was considering to increase that representation, said a message received here Friday.

Kohistani expressed his satisfaction and deep appreciation of the initiatives taken by the former Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and the continuity by the Current Premier Shaid Khaqabn Abbassi. He lauded the historic statements of the leadership to assure minorities that this country will be led by the vision of Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

At this occasion, members expressed satisfaction at the seriousness shown by the current Govt. to resolve their issues.

Participants included Mr. Kheeal Das Kohistani Kohistani, Azhar Ohri from PMLN (UK) Minority wing, Adan Farhaj, and Emanual Mughal. Idrees Mughal Former Registrar Supreme Court of the AJK specially attended the meeting hosted by Chairman OPF Board of Governors Barrister Amjad Malik, said the message.
