Wanted Election Bill 2017 to be accepted with consensus of all parties: Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi Wednesday said that they wanted the Election Bill 2017 to be made with the consensus of all political parties.

Speaking to media persons, the PTI leader said that process of consensus among parties was affected by Clause 203 of the Election Bill 2017.

Qureshi further added they have received the draft of National Accountability Commission.

He went on to say that the laws of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were extremely important to them.

Qureshi also said that a committee, comprising of legal experts, has been made. He added that the experts will give their opinions on different matters.

“We will present our stance after the legal experts present their opinions,” he added.
