NAB chairman committed for recovery of looted money

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal has reiterated his commitment for taking mega corruption cases of big fish to the logical conclusion with aim to recover the looted money from the corrupt.

In a statement, he directed the concerned to conclude the investigations on merit and in light of concrete documentary evidence.

He directed the relevant director generals (DGs) to present latest report about the cases of illegal housing societies so that the latest progress could be reviewed.

He said NAB is determined to eradicate the menace of corruption by devising an effective corruption combating strategy.

He said the last three year’s comparative performance report is a proof of excellent performance of NAB.

He said the bureau has inked MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with (HEC) Higher Education Commission.

Chairman has directed regional bureaus to ensure protecting the self esteem of visiting accused as the bureau is people friendly institute which is working in accordance with law and without caring about intimidation, threatening or duress.
