ISLAMABAD: The KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Friday witnessed bullish trend, gaining 84.91 points with positive change of 0.18 percent, closing at 46, 227.65 points against 46, 142.74 points on the last working day.
A total 694, 815, 584 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 577, 954, 595 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs24.887 billion against Rs23.204 billion previous day.
As many as 415 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 205 of them recorded gain and 200 sustained losses whereas the share price of 10 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 89, 840, 000 shares and price per share of Rs9.40, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 62, 279, 500 and price per share of Rs1.50 and Hum Network with a volume of 60, 253, 500 and price per share of Rs7.01.
Millat Tractors witnessed maximum increase of Rs90.56 per share, closing at Rs1298.14 while Nestle Pakistan shares increased by Rs78.45 per share closing at Rs6200.
Rafhan Maize recorded maximum decrease of Rs385 per share, closing at Rs10100 whereas Bata (Pak) was runner up with the increase of Rs38.58 per share, closing at Rs1799.42.
