Corps Commander visits Rangers headquarters

KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi, Lt. Gen. Shahid Baig Mirza visited the Rangers headquarters here on Friday.

He met with the Director General of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Saeed, who gave a detailed briefing regarding security arrangements for Muharram.

The Corps Commander expressed satisfaction on the steps taken for maintenance of security.

He said that security for places of workshop, Majalis and routes of mourning procession be further beefed up.

Corp Commander said that for the maintenance of peace, the collaboration of citizens with the law enforcement agencies was also vital.

He appreciated the performance of law enforcement agencies for the maintenance of law and order in the province.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh A.D. Khawaja and senior officers of Rangers were also present on the occasion.
