Fire in Karachi graveyard gets Sindh govt flak

KARACHI: Alleged sacrilege of graves in a Karachi graveyard on Saturday (September 30th) has sparked gotten the provincial government flak after administration’s slackness caused a fire in the graveyard.

Reportedly, negligence of the administration and departments concerned has turned Azeempura graveyard on Shah Faisal Road into a dump for the locals.

A fire that was set to “dispose” the garbage in the graveyard affected the graves in its surroundings.

While commenting on the issue, cleric Mufti Naeem criticised the government demanding an immediate action. He held the government responsible for turning the final resting places to dumps.
