LAHORE: A new mechanism for efficient service delivery has been introduced at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) which raised the confidence level of patients.
Principal, Post Graduate Medical Institute, Prof. Ghias-un-Nabi Tayyab said this while talking to media, on Monday.
He said a state of the art Central Research Lab has been established at LGH which helps all the doctors and nurses in various wards of the hospital to observe diagnostic reports whenever required.
He further said that the hospital has provided evening outdoor shift which has proved to be very useful for not only residents of city but people from outskirts as well.
He said that number of steps have been taken to enhance the capacity building of nurses and paramedics along with doctors through holding of training workshops, seminars and symposiums. These activities have played key role to keep the staff updated with modern knowledge of this noble profession, he added.
