None of Pakistan coastal area under threat from cyclonic activity

KARACHI:The Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday said currently none of Pakistan coastal area is under threat from a depression into East Arabian Sea which is likely to move initially North/Northwest-ward and

strengthen further into a Tropical Cyclone during next 36 hours.

It said that the depression is currently laying centred around at a distance of about 1500 kilometers South of Karachi.

The fishermen of Sindh are advised to remain alert and not to venture in deep sea.

The authorities and stakeholders are requested to abreast them of system updates through PMD website.
