Remains of Jawaid Bhutto to reach Karachi from Washington DC on Sunday

KARACHI: Mortal remains of Jawaid Bhutto, a Pakistani scholar, shot dead in Washington DC last week, will reach Karachi Sunday on its way to Shikarpur for burial.

According to a communication received here on Thursday, the body will be accompanied by Nafisa Hoodbhoy, widow of the deceased and other members of the family.

As per arrangement funeral prayers will also be offered on the premises of Sindh University Jamshoro where Bhutto remained associated as a teacher with the philosophy department for quite some time.

Friends and family of the scholar intend to join hands in establishing a research centre dedicated to Bhutto at the Sindh University.
