KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah here on Wednesday said revival of international cricket in Karachi will help promote a soft image of the country around the world.
In a press statement, he said PSL matches in Karachi, the provincial capital, is a good and a great news for all cricket lovers of the province as well as of the country.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, who also holds the portfolio of transport
and labour in the provincial cabinet, said it was joint efforts of the people led by Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah that international cricket will be revived in the province after quite a long time.
“Efforts of our CM has won the hearts of the masses,” said the minister for information.
He said the provincial government was also grateful to the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi who realized the urge and will of the people and played his role to get it materialized.
“Karachi itself is a city of cricketers and cricket lovers hence its inhabitants will welcome the PSL players with open heart,” said Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.
