Ulema’s cooperation with govt is exemplary: Sindh Governor

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Mohammed Zubair has said that the cooperation of Ulema with the government is exemplary.

He stated this while meeting with a five-member delegation of Milat-e-Jafria Pakistan led by Alama Shabir Hussain Mesmi at Governor House, said a statement issued here on Monday.

He said that Islam does not only preach humanity but it is also a complete code of life. He further said that intolerance in an Islamic State is a result of distance from the Islamic education.

The Governor said;” We have to discourage hatred in the society and will have to promote message of love and have to take along everyone.”

He said that it contents him that everyone is seen to support brotherhood, love, harmony etc in the province.

The delegation appreciated the services of the government and law enforcement agencies for ensuring peace during Muharam-ul-Haram.

Governor Zubair said that the month of Muharam gives the message of sacrifices. He said that terrorists and criminal elements have no religion. Adding that they were the enemies of humanity.

The delegation also invited the governor to join the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) which he accepted.
