Awais Leghari calls on CM

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Leghari on Saturday called on Chief Minister Punjab Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif.

On-going development projects and public welfare projects in South Punjab were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the PML-N government had always given priority to development and welfare projects in South Punjab, and people of South Punjab had been given respectable and affordable travelling facilities through Speedo Bus Service after Metro Bus in Multan.

The CM said he was personally monitoring work on development projects in South Punjab. He said those who talk about poor condition of South Punjab had done nothing to resolve problems of people of South Punjab when they were ruling the country and the government of the PML-N had given huge resources to the South Punjab.

The CM said opposition to public welfare projects was in fact opposition to the development and the well-aware people of Punjab had recognized their real faces.

He said:”The PML-N government is giving comfort to the people of South Punjab as development in South Punjab is our responsibility and we are discharging this responsibility”.
