Expatriate’s house got vacated

LAHORE: A house belonging to an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs 10 million, has been got vacated from illegal occupation, with the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab.

Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti told the media that one Naeem Asghar, currently settled in Kuwait, had lodged a complaint that some persons had occupied his house in Bhagwal, Tehsil Kharian, district Gujrat.

The complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Gujrat for proceedings. Members of the DOPC later on got the house vacated with the help of local police and handed it over to the owner.
