LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Friday approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 38624.317 million.
These schemes were approved in the 19th meeting of the PDWP of current fiscal year 2017-18, presided over by the Chairman P&D Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Mohammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control & Communication (PPIC3) Centre, Lahore (Revised) with the cost of Rs 14527 million, Promotion of Gram Cultivation through Life Saving Irrigation with Sprinkler System under Changing Climate with the cost of Rs 380.080 million, Rehabilitation/Reconstruction/Wid & Imp Of Road from Sahiwal to Sillanwali via Farooqa length 26.17 km, Sargodha with the cost of Rs 694.413 million, Third Party Validation of Roadmap Data on Basic Health Units and Rural Health Centers (PC-II) with the cost of Rs. 21.524 million and Enhancing of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Punjab with the cost of Rs 23,001.30 million.
