IDAP, Turkish contractor to strengthen infrastructure of Punjab

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Malik Tanveer Aslam Awan Friday said the Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) with collaboration of Turkish Contractor DORCE will strengthen the infrastructure of Punjab.

The minister who is chairperson of Infrastructure Development Authority said Turkish Contractor with vast worldwide experience in engineering and construction had capability to operate in harsh and extreme conditions in several countries.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting held in committee room of the IDAP here.

In meeting, agenda was way forward on visit to Turkey in August 2017 to see manufacturing plant of M/S DORCE trade Inc.CEO IDAP, Communications and Works, Finance, Education, LDA departments were present.

CEO IDAP Mujahid Sheir Dil briefed the provincial minister that a delegation from Punjab visited Turkey and Ankara in August 2017 for detailed inspection of the manufacturing plant of the DORCE.

This Turkish company is included in the list of the best contractors in the world. Mujahid said that future of the infrastructure in the province Punjab would be strengthened as a result of collaboration with Turkish Company having a wide range of modern facilities and expertise.

The minister said that vision of the CM Punjab was to built the latest infrastructure in Punjab equipped with all modern needs to meet the latest challenges.

He appreciated the visit of Turkey and Ankara and hoped that collaboration of Turkish Contractor will perform a unique role with modern technologies.
