OPC Punjab gets house of expatriate woman vacated

LAHORE:Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has got vacated a house worth Rs 5 million of an expatriate Pakistani woman from an illegal occupant.

Commissioner OPC Punjab Afzaal Bhatti informed the media here on Monday that one Zahida Shehnaz Majeed, settled in the USA currently, had filed a complaint that her tenant had refused to vacate her house in Karim Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, and also refused to pay the rent for previous months.

Afzaal Bhatti said that the complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee, (DOPC) Lahore for further action.

The DOPC got vacated the house and handed it over to its owner.
