LAHORE:Plots have been allotted to three public sector departments for setting up their offices after approval of the draft bill for the purpose.
The approval was given in a Lahore Development Authority (LDA) governing body meeting, chaired by LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran at LDA office on Thursday.
The plots have been allotted to Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Punjab Public Prosecution Department and Punjab Power Department.
The governing body also approved the draft regulation document for auction of lease rights for parking sites of the LDA.
The meeting also endorsed the decision taken by Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) to regularise illegal water and sewerage connections from
March 6 to 20 without imposing any fine.
