LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PLM-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat on Saturday said that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had left Rs100 billion in the Punjab’s exchequer when their government tenure ended.
Talking to media, the PML-Q leader said that keeping in view the defeat of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the upcoming elections, Shehbaz Sharif has supported PML-Q’s demand to form a national government.
“Three years ago, I said that the only solution to the country’s problems is a national government,” he added.
Shujaat Hussain said: “Investigations should be carried out on the last three weeks of the PML-N government which ruined the country’s economy.”
The PML-Q leader further demanded those behind excessive rise of dollar against Pakistani rupee in the last three weeks of the PML-N government should be punished.
