PTI long march: LHC seeks further arguments

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday sought further arguments on maintainability of petition seeking directions to stop Imran Khan’s long march.

Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood khan was hearing the petition filed by Muhammad Kamran.

Earlier, the petitioner contended that Imran Khan wanted to spread anarchy in the country through his long march.

He said that Imran despite being a member of national Assembly wanted to derail democracy.

He pleaded the court to issue directions to stop Imran Khan’s long march in the national interest.

The court adjourning the matter till first week of August asked petitioner to give further arguments on maintainability of the petition.
