LAHORE:The position of rivers inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma, alongwith reservoirs levels and the barrages on Sunday was reported as under: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 27,700 cusecs and outflows 45,000 cusecs.
Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 2,900 cusecs and outflows 2,900 cusecs. Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 6,000 cusecs and outflows 30,000 cusecs. Chenab at Marala: Inflows 8,800 cusecs and outflows 2,000 cusecs. Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 56,700 cusecs and outflows 51,200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 47,900 cusecs and outflows 38,000 cusecs. Taunsa: Inflows 36,900 cusecs and outflows 36,400 cusecs.
Panjnad: Inflows 6,000 cusecs and outflows 2,000 cusecs.
Guddu: Inflows 38,200 cusecs and outflows 32,000 cusecs.
Sukkur: Inflows 33,000 cusecs and outflows 6,600 cusecs. Kotri: Inflows 8,300 cusecs and outflows Nil Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1,380 feet, present level
1,475.87 feet, maximum conservation level 1,550 feet, live storage on Sunday 2.470 million acres feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1,040 feet, present level 1,176.00 feet, maximum conservation level 1,242 feet, live storage on Sunday 3.106 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.30 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage on Sunday 0.100MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6am.
