Shahbaz calls Pakistan as PML-N’s fort

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that whole Pakistan is the fort of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

He made the statement while addressing a workers convention here on Wednesday.

The chief minister congratulated his party over winning the by-election in NA-120. He added, “Whole Pakistan, not just NA-120, is PML-N’s fort”.

Sharif went on to say that the party won the NA-120 by-polls in tough situation. “The whole country had its eyes fixed on the elections,” he said.

CM Punjab said that the 2018 general elections will clarify the entire political situation of the country.

He claimed that 18 hours of loadshedding used to take place every day before PML-N came into power. “Today, loadshedding has nearly ended from the country,” he added. He said that those who looted the coutry give lecture in television program.

Lashing at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Sharif asked that how much electricity has Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) generated so far. He said, “Imran Khan! You termed us ‘Dengue Brothers’. But When there was the outbreak of the epidemic in KP, you climbed on the mountains”.
