LAHORE: Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that it is the best worship to share joys and happiness of Eid with deserving and poor people.
He expressed these views on Wednesday at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) in a function held in connection with the distribution of clothes and other gifts among patients by office bearers of Patients Welfare Association.
Prof Anjum Habib Vohra, Principal PGMI, Prof Agha Shibir Ali, MS LGH Dr Pervez Imtiaz and PWA’s office bearers were also present on the occasion.
Talking to the media, Salman Rafique and Prof Vohra said that it was our social duty to share our joys with patients who were unable to join their families living far away from them.
They said the hospital organization of philanthropists had managed to distribute gifts among the deserving patients prior to Eid ul Fitr so that they could complete their Eid preparation well in time.
