Gujrat: On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Khizar Hayat Bhatti to review the prospects of establishing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the district.

Fuel station owners participated in the meeting and expressed interest in setting up EV charging facilities. They said that upon receiving official policy guidelines covering land requirements, charging capacity, parking space, bus routes, and other technical aspects, they would actively engage in the process.

The ADC assured participants of the district administration’s full support, in line with the Punjab government’s directives, to promote environmentally-friendly transportation. He added that progress on technical and administrative matters will be reviewed in the next meeting.
