Chiniot: Provincial Minister for Construction and Communications, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharat on Saturday conducted a nighttime inspection of the under-construction Chiniot-Faisalabad Road.
He reviewed the construction progress on foot, checking the quality of materials and ensuring that work was being carried out according to standards. The minister was briefed on the project’s details, including its cost and expected benefits.
The ongoing project, worth Rs 4.5 billion, aims to complete a 24-kilometer two-lane road that will significantly reduce travel time between Faisalabad and Chiniot. According to officials, the journey will be completed in under 40 minutes.
During the inspection, the minister emphasized the importance of completing the remaining work quickly, ensuring that citizens’ rights are protected during the construction process.
On this occasion, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharat highlighted the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to development, stating that every passing day guarantees further progress in the province.
He also praised the chief minister’s efforts in providing the best infrastructure to the people of Punjab, underscoring the government’s focus on improving the province’s infrastructure and services.
