Khalil Gymkhana advance in Inter-Club ODI Cricket Tournament

PESHAWAR: Khalil Gymkhana defeated Bashir Bilour Cricket Club by 24 runs in the Peshawar District Inter-Club ODI Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday.

The captain of Khalil Gymkhana Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 149 runs in which prominent scorers were Wajid Khan 61 runs with seven boundaries, Murtaza 33 runs with four boundaries and Abdullah 17 runs.

Bashir Bilour’s Zahoor Ahmed from Shaheed Cricket Club claimed five wickets. Osama struck out two and Abdul Rehman struck out one. In pursuit of the target, Bashir Bilour Cricket Club were bowled out for 125 in the 33rd over.

Abdul Rehman scored 35 and Salman Khan 22 runs. For Khalil Gymkhana, Omar got five wickets, Wajid and Isa Khan got two wickets each while Fahad Shah got one wicket.

Thus, Khalil Gymkhana won the match by 24 runs. Former President Peshawar District Cricket Association Asghar Ali, former Senior Vice President Malik Farman and other personalities were present on the occasion.
