Burewala: A tragic incident occurred on Sheikh Fazil road near Gaggu Mandi, Burewala, where a youth lost his life after his motorcycle caught fire following a collision with a car.

According to the details, Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, a resident of Chak No. 283/EB, was bringing petrol in a plastic can on his motorcycle when he was struck from behind by a speeding car.

Suddenly, a massive fire erupted into the motorcycle and the he sustained serious burn injuries.

He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to Sahiwal in critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the Sahiwal hospital. The driver of the car fled.
