Islamabad:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday commended the professional capabilities of the officers and personnel of the security forces for killing 13 terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij during a successful operation in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement, the prime minister said the security forces effectively targeted the hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij in North Waziristan and its surrounding areas.
‘Operations against Fitna al-Khawarij will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism and the establishment of lasting peace in the country,’ he said adding that effective operations against terrorism under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative reflected the state’s unwavering resolve to completely eliminate terrorism.
‘We will not allow terrorists who seek to undermine the peace and security of our country to succeed in their nefarious designs,’ the prime minister said.
