Mirpur (ajk):Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani Wednesday reiterated his government’s commitment to continuing the development process initiated by the previous PML-N government and completing public welfare projects.
Speaking during a meeting with a delegation of PML-N Mirpur led by Kashmir Council member Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed at JK House, the PM said the government would make concerted efforts to resolve problems being faced by the people of Mirpur besides rest of AJK on a priority basis.
He said the government would ensure balanced development and prosperity across AJK while paying special attention to public welfare and addressing people’s problems.
The PM also said special attention would be given to the concerns of PML-N workers, assuring the delegation that their issues would be considered appropriately.
The delegation congratulated Iftikhar Gilani on assuming the office of prime minister and apprised him of various issues confronting Mirpur. It expressed the hope that the new government would usher in a new phase of development and prosperity in Azad Kashmir.
