SARGODHA:The district administration Thursday retrieved 150 kanals of state land from land grabbers in Sargodha.
According to a spokesman for the district administration, Deputy Commissioner Naila Baqir came to know that some influential people of Chak 99-SB had occupied 150-kanal state land valued at Rs 500 million near Kandiwal Road and selling it in the form of plots.
She directed Assistant Commissioner Sargodha Umer Daraz, who, along with a police team and staff of Revenue Department, conducted a raid and retrieved the land.
